Jesus was a teacher. He took ordinary men and women, and he taught them. He then sent those men and women into the world to be his disciples.
The mission of Franciscan University of Steubenville is to carry on that work. Our purpose always has been and always will be teaching and forming disciples to serve Jesus Christ in the Church and in the culture.
Franciscan University’s work is about Jesus’ work. It’s about his mission and us participating in that. We exist to equip the men and women who, like St. Francis before us, will rebuild and renew the Church.
